Camp is about making new friends, trying new things, pushing your limits and having fun. We believe that our campers will leave with new found skills, confidence and friends. Although we have a set schedule we leave enough flexibility for each camper to create their own adventure and make the most out of their time at camp. Register for a day, week or month.
9:00am – 10:30am Team Bonding Games and Activities
Ice breakers, games and challenges that help us get to know each other, build friendships and work together as a team. Carefully chosen to get people talking, sharing, laughing and having a good time.
10:30am – Noon Morning Recreation
Kids need time to be kids. To run, jump, play and make up their own rules. Equipment and ideas will be provided; however camp staff will allow the kids to decide how to participate, make up the rules and self-police as much as possible. To keep things interesting available equipment will change each day but activities may include:
- Laser tag
- Sports (soccer, 4 Square, kickball, giant volleyball, crab soccer…)
- Lawn Games (Bocce Ball, Corn hole, Frisbee golf, Spikeball…)
- Games – Twister, Jenga, Connect 4, Drop Ball
- Field Day (potato sac races, tug of war, 3 legged races, run mats, obstacle course…)
- Minute to Win It Games
- Scavenger hunt
- Water balloon/ball launcher
- Sand sculpture competition
- Campers are welcome to bring their own equipment as long as they are willing to share
Noon – 13:00 Lunch
Lunch is an hour to relax in the shade.
13:00 – 14:30 Makerspace
Some campers might consider themselves too old for “Arts and Crafts” but no one is too old for MakerSpace. What is MakerSpace? MakerSpace is a designated time where creativity, collaboration and hands-on learning take place. It is a chance for campers to try new things while they create, experiment, invent, tinker, explore, discover, work with one another and learn. 2-3 days a week we will feature a specific project during MakerSpace but if campers aren’t interested in the featured project they can still keep themselves busy with the regular selections that include construction, engineering and art supplies and how to books. Below is just a small sampling of what we have available.
14:30-16:00 Afternoon Recreation
Afternoon recreation is centered around the ocean. Our giant floating mat provides the central location but snorkeling, kayaking, water relays and more will be available throughout camp. We encourage campers to bring any “water toys” they have to use during this time.
16:00 Camp day ends
Early drop-off & Late pick-up: Extended hours are available, please ask.
We have a huge collection of card, board, strategy and logic games during these times. Late pick-up times can also be filled with extended makerspace time.
